QTM signs content deal with eSports club- Movistar Riders

  • Movistar Riders goes one step further to take eSports around the world and agrees with some of the world’s leading airlines to broadcast club content on their flights.
  • The club signs its first major agreement to spread digital entertainment on board.

MADRID, 25th January 2022. Fans of eSports and gamers’ digital entertainment are in luck.  Now, every time they board a plane, they will be able to enjoy the content that Movistar Riders, the world’s leading eSports club, regularly develops for its millions of followers. Regular flights operated by Iberia Express, Viva Aerobus, Volotea, Air Nostrum, Orbest, Sun Express, Pegasus, Binter, and W2Fly will have special 100% eSport programming to liven up their passengers.

Movistar Riders will offer in-house produced programs ranging from documentaries to tips and classes from specialists, as well as full seasons of one game or another. Videos both for entertainment (as e-Cats) and to follow the Movistar Riders team (the other side of the players, the competition under scrutiny…), as well as for training and awareness (My Game My Name).

Among others, Movistar Riders will program on board the most outstanding digital gamer entertainment in all its different formats: full seasons of AFK, CS:GO Legends or e-Cats; documentaries such as FIFA_Movistar Riders or Movistar Riders in the WeCup; masterclasses such as those given at the Fornite Riders Academy. 

the club’s audience and especially strengthen the link with its most unconditional fans. It is estimated that 28 million travelers will have access to Movistar Riders content during the agreement.
